The Jazz Dance & Fitness Video Series brought to you by "The Joy of Dance" is an engaging online Dance Fitness program that focuses on Edifying Body & Mind while seamlessly blending dance and fitness for a holistic experience. "The Joy of Dance" promotes Dance Education with Life Application, aiming to teach, train, and inspire those eager to learn dance or rekindle their passion for it as well as make dance accessible to all ages, easy to learn, and most importantly, enjoyable. Featuring straightforward jazz dance routines, the program integrates basic fitness exercises with gentle to moderate stretching and relaxation techniques. While no prior dance experience is required, it can be beneficial. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable workout attire and have a Yoga/Pilates mat, towel, or small blanket ready for the stretching segments. The music selected for the series is positive and uplifting, enhancing the overall experience. This course includes the following jazz dance routines: 1. "A Warmup Session" 2. "Faithful & Mighty" 3. "Let There Be Funk" 4. "Mountains" 5. "A Cooldown Session" 6. Bonus dance video: "The One" Note: The videos in this course are from the "Joy of Dance" Archives and were filmed between 2010-2015. As the Creative Director of “The Joy of Dance,” Glorious Raine mentored children, youth, and adults as a Dance Instructor, Choreographer, Dance Ministry Leader, and Soloist.
